Opening day! The Highlands Natural Pool opens for the season. Bring a dish for our Potluck lunch. Join us for words of welcome at noon followed by a dip in the pool and then share a meal with old friends and new!

Starting today, the pool will be open daily operating on summer hours continuing through all of July and August:

• Weekends from 10am to 8pm
• Weekdays from 11am to 8pm

Sunday, July 4th
Celebrate Independence Day with us. It’s Grilled Hotdogs and Home-made Apple Pie Time! Leave your lunch basket at home and fill up on our delicious grilled hotdogs & homemade baked goods in our mini-fundraising event. Starts at 1:00pm & lasts until all the goodies are gone!

Saturday, July 10th
Life Guard Appreciation Day with games & races. Let’s show our appreciation & have some fun! Time TBD.

Annual Reunion & Celebration. It’s the 100th Anniversary of the Nature Friends of America; the 75th Anniversary of the building of the Pool & the 15th year as the Highlands Natural Pool! We have lots to celebrate! Join us for this all day celebration & fun day in the sun with stories, pictures & lots more. Hot dogs & home baked goodies for sale. Activities from 11:00am – 5:00pm. All are welcome.

Saturday, August 14th (Rain: Sunday)
Family Fun Day. Something for Everyone! Yard Sale (Tables $10 members/$25 non-members). Crafts to Buy & Crafts to Make. Games for Kids & the Young-at-Heart. (Crafters & Yard Sellers – call the pool to reserve a space)

Sunday, August 22nd
“Wild Weeds & Tasty Teas” — An herbal class led by Robin Rose Bennett. Demonstrations, Recipes & Herbal Samples to taste that will strengthen you & your families’ immune system. Plus support for Lyme Disease & Bug Bite concoctions! Time: 2:00pm – 3:30pm.

Saturday, September 4th
Our wonderful end-of-season Annual Candlelight Gala. This year's Theme: Diamonds Are Forever. Get your tickets early, this event often sells out weeks in advance!

Labor Day Potluck. Bring a dish to share!

The pool will be open only on weekends after today until the end of September.

Saturday, September 25th
Becky’s end-of-season Campfire. Along with the usual goodies to put on the fire...Special this year… A member is bringing his portable wood-burning brick pizza oven & you can make your own individual pizza!. This you’ve got to see & taste - delicious! What a way to end the season! Time: 6:00-9:00pm.

Sunday, September 26th
Last day of swimming for the season.
