Saturday, May 28th
Opening day! The Highlands Natural Pool opens for the season. Bring a dish for our Potluck lunch. Join us for words of welcome at noon followed by a
dip in the pool and then share a meal with old friends and new!
Monday, June 27th
Starting today, the pool will be open daily operating on summer hours continuing through all of July and August:
- Weekends from 10am to 8pm
- Weekdays from 11am to 8pm
Monday, July 4th
Celebrate Independence Day with us. It’s Grilled Hotdogs and Home-made Apple Pie Time! Leave your lunch basket at home and
fill up on our delicious grilled hotdogs & homemade baked goods in our mini-fundraising event. Starts at 1:00pm & lasts
until all the goodies are gone!
Saturday, July 9th
Life Guard Appreciation Day. A big shout out to all our lifeguards, without
whom our wonderful summer of swimming fun would not be possible.
Saturday, July 30th
Camp Midvale Reunion - 12 noon. A special gathering of folks with fond memories of attending day camp on the Weis grounds
long before that became the Weis Ecology Center, and swimming here long before we became known as the Highlands Natural Pool.
All are welcome.
Saturday, August 6th
Our wonderful Annual Candlelight Gala. Set Sail for "Cruisin" the Highlands on the SS Norvin Green 6pm - 10pm.
Get your tickets early, as this event often sells out weeks in advance! (Note: the Pool will close in the late afternoon this day, as

Saturday, September 24th
End-of-season Campfire. What a way to end the season! Time: 6:00-9:00pm.
Don't eat dinner! Save your appetite! We are bringing back the portable pizza oven! Delicious slices and some
wonderful toppings will be available for purchase! We will provide beverages, marshmallows, and of course, smores fixings.
(after-cost proceeds benefit the Pool)
Sunday, September 25th
Last day of swimming for the season. Also:
Wild Weeds & Tasty Teas
2-3:30 pm
Join renowned herbalist and author Robin Rose Bennett to explore local wild plants considered to have medicinal value,
with a focus on edible weeds and teas. Recipes and samples will be shared.
Location: meet us at the Pool, (in case of rain, meet at the Weis pavillion). Program will be held rain or shine!
Cost: $5 Members, $8 non-members. Please call or stop by the Pool to reserve your space!
NOTE: During the season Weekly Activity Schedules are available at the pool gate.
